I didn’t grow up feeling safe.

My childhood was shaped by a tough neighborhood and a home where security was never guaranteed. I saw how the absence of safety affected not just individuals, but entire communities. That experience planted a seed—a deep desire to change things.

When I discovered the security industry, it wasn’t just a career move. It was a mission. I knew I wanted to build something that would give people what I never had: peace of mind. Together with my wife, who shares the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, we founded AlarmTek.

But we didn’t start with resources. We started with resolve.

We had a $10,000 loan and a dream. I would spend my days and evenings knocking on doors, doing sales calls, one home and one business at a time. When I got home late at night, I’d wake up my wife, and she would process the paperwork. The next morning, our technicians would come to our garage, pick up the equipment, and head out to do installations. It was hard. It was exhausting. But it was ours. And we were making it happen.

AlarmTek was built from the ground up—literally. Every system we installed was a step toward our vision: to create the best security products and services on the planet. Not just systems that respond to threats, but ones that detect and stop crime in real time. Because safety isn’t just about protection—it’s about empowerment.

Today, AlarmTek is a leader in the security space. We’ve developed proprietary technology, expanded into connected services, and built a reputation for excellence. But at our core, we’re still that garage startup—driven by purpose, passion, and a relentless commitment to helping people feel safe.

My dream is bigger than just safe homes. I want to help build safe communities. Safe cities. A world where my kids—and yours—can grow up without fear. That’s the legacy I’m working toward.
